One of important effective factors on corrosion rate is fluid motion in pipe and all of construction that have flow of fluid. This study was carried out to investigate the effect of fluid flow on the corrosion of simple carbon steel ST37 (AISI 1020) in aqueous solution of Bandar Abbas’s gas well at 25oC under the air-saturated condition. To investigate the mechanism and kinetic of corrosion in different hydrodynamic conditions, a Rotating Disk Electrode (RDE) was used. The imposed potential and polarization on the metal sample, a potentiostat system was utilized and to interpret the data, Linear Polarization Resistance (LPR) and tafel polarization methods were applied. To study the effect of fluid flow on the rate of corrosion, the speed of rotating disk was changed from 100 to 1700 rpm. Drawing the related polarization curves mass transfer coefficients were predicted. Using these coefficients and empirical correlation between dimensionless groups as Sh= 0.8433 Re0.497Sc1/3 was found. This correlation is much closer to the correlation proposed by Levich. Experimental data also shows that increasing the disk speed to 1000 rpm. The rate of corrosion (due to the increases in mass transfer rate) was increased. Above this speeds the rate of corrosion in independent of disk speed. Finally to study the corrosion inside the pipes using the analogy aspects, a relation to predict the disk speed (generating the same velocity of fluid inside the pipe) was obtained.}, keywords = {Carbon steel ST37 (AISI 1020),Rotating Disk Electrode (RDE),Fluid flow effect,Mass transfer coefficient}, title_fa = {بررسی تأثیر جریان سیال بر نرخ خوردگی فولاد ساده کربنی در محلول آبی به کمک الکترود صفحۀ چرخان}, abstract_fa = {خوردگی به معنای تخریب یک ماده در اثر واکنش با محیطی که در آن قرار دارد، می‌باشد. یکی از مهمترین عامل‌ های مؤثر بر نرخ خوردگی در داخل لوله‌ها، سرعت سیال در تماس با فلز می ‌باشد. در این پژوهش اثر سرعت سیال بر دانسیته جریان خوردگی برای فولاد کربنی ساده ST37 (AISI 1020) در محلول آب همراه با گاز چاه‌های بندرعباس در دمای °C 25 بررسی شده است. به‌ منظور بررسی مکانیسم و سنیتیک فرایند خوردگی در شرایط هیدرودینامیکی، از دستگاه صفحۀ چرخان استفاده شده است. برای اعمال پتانسیل‌های مورد نظر و ایجاد پلاریزاسیون بر روی قطعه مورد آزمایش از دستگاه پتانسیواستات استفاده شده و برای تحلیل داده‌ ها، روش مقاومت پلاریزاسیون خطی به‌ کار برده شد. در این پژوهش، با تغییر سرعت چرخشی صفحه چرخان از rpm100 تا rpm1700 و ترسیم منحنی‌های پلاریزاسیون آنها، افزون بر به‌ دست آوردن رابطۀ تجربی انتقال جرم این سامانه (Sh=0.8433 Re0.497Sc-1/3) که بسیار نزدیک به رابطۀ لوویچ بود. این نتیجه‌ ها نیز به دست آمد که با افزایش سرعت چرخشی تا rpm1000به‌ دلیل زیاد شدن میزان انتقال جرم، نرخ خوردگی افزایش می‌ یابد. همچنین افزایش سرعت الکترود به مقدارهای بالاتر، با تغییر مکانیسم خوردگی همراه می‌ باشد که در پژوهش مورد بررسی واقع قرار گرفت. در پایان به ارتباط بین نتیجه‌های آزمایشگاهی و جریان سیال در خط لوله پرداخته شد و معادله ای برای محاسبۀ سرعت سیال جاری در خط لوله به‌ عنوان تابعی از سرعت چرخشی معادل در سامانه آزمایشگاهی به‌ دست آمد.}, keywords_fa = {فولاد کربنی ساده (AISI 1020),الکترود صفحۀ چرخان,اثر جریان سیال,ضریب انتقال جرم}, url = {https://www.nsmsi.ir/article_12598.html}, eprint = {https://www.nsmsi.ir/article_12598_4b3525d733d150b64c18bd9218dc42d6.pdf} }
