Artificially samples of wastewater containing phenol in a laboratory scale were prepared with deionized water and the influences of effective parameters such as initial pH of the solution, adsorbent dosage, contact time, initial phenol concentration and the temperature were studied in a batch reactor. The residual phenol concentration in samples was determined with a spectrophotometer in 270 nm and the excel software was used for analyzing the experimental data. In order to kinetic study of phenol adsorption, the pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order, and intraparticle diffusion were chosen. The results showed that the data has the best fit with the pseudo-second-order model. Also, accordance of the data with the Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models was investigated. The correlation coefficient value (R2=0.99) indicates that the adsorption followed the Freundlich isotherm model. Thermodynamic parameters such as standard Gibbs free energy (ΔGο), standard enthalpy (ΔHο) and standard entropy (ΔSο) was calculated in different temperature. Negative values of ΔGο and ΔHο demonstrate that the adsorption process is spontaneous and exothermic, respectively. The results showed the amount of phenol adsorbed increased when the contact time and adsorbent dosage increased and it was decreased with increasing the pH, phenol initial concentration and temperature. The maximum percentage of phenol adsorption on pomegranate kernel activated carbon in optimum condition (pH=2, adsorbent dosage=1.5 g, equilibrium time=30 minutes) in 100 mg/L initial phenol concentration was determined 94%. Based on the results of this study revealed that the pomegranate kernel activated carbon is a cheap and available adsorbent and has high potential to adsorption of phenol from aqueous solutions.}, keywords = {Phenol,Adsorption isotherm,Adsorption kinetics,Pomegranate activated carbon}, title_fa = {بررسی جذب فنل از محلول‌های آبی با استفاده از کربن هسته انار}, abstract_fa = {این پژوهش با هدف بررسی کارایی کربن هسته انار در جذب فنل از محلول‌های آبی انجام شده است. بدین منظور نمونه پساب دارای فنل به‌طور مصنوعی در مقیاس آزمایشگاهی در آب یون زدایی ‌شده و در یک راکتور ناپیوسته، اثر عامل های مؤثر مانندpH اولیه محلول، مقدار جاذب، زمان تماس، غلظت اولیه فنل و اثر دما بررسی‌شد. غلظت فنل باقی‌مانده در نمونه‌های مورد آزمایش با استفاده از روش اسپکتروفتومتری در طول‌موج 270 نانومتر تعیین شد و برای تجزیه‌وتحلیل داده‌ها نرم‌افزار EXCEL به‌کار برده شد. به‌منظور مطالعه سینتیک جذب سطحی، سینتیک شبه درجه اول، شبه درجه دوم و سینتیک نفوذ درون‌ذره‌ای موردمطالعه قرار گرفت که نتیجه ها نشان‌دهنده تطابق بیش تر سینتیک شبه درجه دوم با داده‌های تجربی است. همچنین تطابق داده‌های تجربی با هم دما‌های لانگمویر و فروندلیچ بررسی شد که مقدار ضریب همبستگی (99/0R2=) نشان‌دهنده تبعیت جذب فنل از هم دمای فروندلیچ است. پارامترهای ترمودینامیکی مانند انرژی آزاد گیبس استانداردΔGο، آنتالپی استاندارد HοΔ و آنتروپی استاندارد ΔSο  در دماهای گوناگون محاسبه‌شد. منفی بودن تغییرهای انرژی آزاد گیبس و آنتالپی نشان‌دهنده خود به خودی و گرمازا بودن فرایند جذب است. با توجه به نتیجه های به‌دست‌آمده، میزان جذب فنل توسط کربن هسته انار با افزایش زمان تماس و گرم جاذب افزایش می‌یابد و با افزایش pH، غلظت اولیه فنل و دما کاهش می‌یابد. بیش ترین درصد جذب فنل توسط کربن هسته انار برابر 94‌% در pH بهینه 2، مقدار جاذب g 5/1 در غلظت اولیه فنل معادل  mg/L100 و زمان تماس 30 دقیقه به‌دست‌آمد. بر اساس نتیجه های به دست آمده مشخص شد که کربن هسته انار یک جاذب ارزان‌قیمت و در دسترس محسوب شده و دارای پتانسیل بالا، در جذب فنل از محلول‌های آبی است.}, keywords_fa = {فنل,هم دمای جذب سطحی,سینتیک جذب سطحی,کربن هسته انار}, url = {https://www.nsmsi.ir/article_25203.html}, eprint = {https://www.nsmsi.ir/article_25203_a086d17c70d0ab828ea3f09b2280c1bc.pdf} }
