In this paper, one of the most simple, general and applicable correlation to estimate diffusivity in liquid systems, Siddiqi-Lucas correlation, selected and its accuracy and capability in calculation of diffusivity of various liquid systems have been investigated. Results indicate that average absolute errors of this correlation in diffusivity prediction are 25.1% and 20.8% in hydrocarbon mixtures and aqueous solutions, respectively. Also, the calculations show that average absolute error for alcoholic solutions is 44.8% and more than 30% of calculated diffusion coefficients in these systems have an error of more than 60% while the in non-alcohols solutions average error is 18.9% and less than 2% of results have an error of more than 60%. Because of the weakness of this correlation in the prediction of diffusion coefficients in systems including alcoholic solvents, and the results of previous studies, literatures which depict higher prediction errors using most relations for alcoholic solutions with respect to non-alcoholic solutions, and since, there is not a particular relation for these systems, a new correlation in the form of Siddiqi-Lucas relation proposed to calculate diffusivity in alcoholic systems. Using this relation, the average error decreased from 44.8% to 28.5% and the results percentage with error more than 70% decreased from 24 to zero. For more verification, the results of proposed relation compared with Wilk-Chang results, Tyn-Calus and Hayduk-Minhas correlations, and the results indicated a good improvement in calculated coefficients and the higher accuracy of the proposed relation which makes its usage reasonable and necessary.  }, keywords = {Diffusion Coefficient,Siddiqi-Lucas correlation,Alcoholic systems}, title_fa = {ارزیابی رابطه صدیقی ـ لوکاس و اصلاح آن برای تخمین ضریب نفوذ در سیستم های الکلی}, abstract_fa = {با توجه به اهمیت و کاربرد بالای ضریب نفوذ در محاسبه ‌های انتقال جرم، رابطه ‌های بسیاری برای محاسبه آن در شرایط گوناگون ارایه شده است. در این مقاله یکی از عمومی‌ترین، ساده‌ترین و پرکاربردترین این رابطه‌ ها برای محاسبه نفوذپذیری در سامانه‌های مایع یعنی رابطه صدیقی ـ لوکاس انتخاب شده و دقت و توانایی آن در محاسبه ضریب نفوذ 150 سامانه مایع گوناگون بررسی شده است. نتیجه ‌ها نشان می‌دهند که خطای متوسط مطلق این رابطه در پیش ‌بینی ضریب نفوذ سامانه ‌های هیدروکربنی1/25% و محلول‌های آبی 8 /20% می باشد. همچنین این رابطه در پیش ‌بینی ضریب نفوذ سامانه ‌های دارای حلال الکلی ضعیف می ‌باشد. از نتیجه‌ های موجود در متون نیز برمی ‌آید که بیشتر رابطه‌ ها در تخمین ضریب‌ های نفوذ شرایط الکلی نسبت به شرایط غیرالکلی، خطای بسیار بالاتری دارند. بر اساس این شاهدها و نیز نبود رابط ه‌ای ویژه برای محلول‌های الکلی، رابطه ‌ی جدیدی به شکل رابطه صدیقی ـ لوکاس برای محاسبه ضریب نفوذ در سامانه ‌های الکلی ارایه شده است.  با استفاده از این رابطه، خطای متوسط برای شرایط الکلی از 8 /44% به 5 /28 و نیز درصد نتیجه ‌های دارای خطای بالاتر از 70% از 24 به صفر کاهش یافت. برای تأیید بیشتر، رابطه پیشنهادی با رابطه ‌های تین ـ کالوس، هایدوک ـ مینهاس و ویلک ـ چانگ نیز مقایسه شد. که نتیج ه‌های به دست آمده بهبود بسیار خوب ضریب‌های نفوذ محاسبه شده و دقت بالاتر رابطه پیشنهادی را آشکار می‌ سازد.}, keywords_fa = {ضریب نفوذ,رابطه صدیقی ـ لوکاس,شرایط الکلی}, url = {https://www.nsmsi.ir/article_7487.html}, eprint = {https://www.nsmsi.ir/article_7487_de65826ea71cda44661acd12e88e412b.pdf} }
