In this study, the biosorption of uranium using the marine brown algae, Padina sp., was investigated in a continuous system. The column was a glass tube with an inside diameter of 1 cm and 20 cm in length. The effect of various operating parameters such as initial solution concentration, bed height and feed flow rate was investigated. According to the results, the breakthrough and the saturation points occurred at 1.5 and 20 hours, respectively and the amount of the absorption capacity was 372 mg/g at the operating conditions, i.e., flow rate of 5 mL/min, bed height of 8 cm and solution initial concentration of 150 mg/L. The experimental results have been fitted with the Thomas and BDST models and the models results showed good agreement with the empirical data. The parameters of Thomas model, kTH and qm were 0.00208 L/hr.mg and 449 mg/g, respectively and 0.00208 L/hr.mg and 72.42 mg/cm3 for Ka and N0, the parameters of BDST model, respectively. Sorption-desorption studies were carried out for three sequential cycles. The results indicated that Padina sp. has the ability to uptake uranium with high sorption capacity in a continuous system and has the possibility for regeneration and reuse}, keywords = {Biosorption,Uranium,Padina sp. brown algae,Continuous sorption system}, title_fa = {بررسی جذب زیستی اورانیوم با استفاده از جلبک قهوه ای پادینا در یک سامانه جذب پیوسته}, abstract_fa = {با توجه به خطرهای زیست محیطی اورانیوم، اتخاذ روشی مناسب و موثر به منظور حذف این فلز سنگین از محلول های آبی بسیار مهم است. در این پژوهش جذب زیستی اورانیوم با استفاده از جلبک قهوهای دریایی، گونه پادینا (Padina sp.)، در یک سامانه جذب پیوسته مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. ستون مورد استفاده یک لوله شیشه‌ای با قطر داخلی  cm 1 و طول cm 20 بود. تاثیر پارامترهای غلظت اولیه محلول، شدت جریان ورودی و ارتفاع بستر بر عملکرد ستون مورد مطالعه قرار گرفت. بر اساس نتیجه‌های به‌دست آمده در شرایط عملیاتی شدت جریان ورودی، ارتفاع بستر و غلظت اولیه محلول عبوری به ترتیب mL/min 5، cm 8 و mg/L 150، نقطه شکست و اشباع در این سامانه به ترتیب در مدت زمان 5/1 و 20 ساعت رخ داده و میزان ظرفیت جذب، mg/g 372 جاذب به‌دست آمد. نتیجه‌های تجربی با استفاده از مدل های توماس و BDST برازش شد که هر دو مدل تطابق خوبی با داده های آزمایشگاهی نشان دادند. پارامترهای kTH و qm مدل توماس به ترتیب L/hr.mg 00208/0 و mg/g  449 به‌دست آمد. همچنین پارامترهای Ka و N0 مدل BDST  به ترتیب L/hr.mg 00208/0 و mg/cm3  42/72 به‌دست آمد. مطالعه‌های عملیات جذب و دفع در سه سیکل متوالی انجام گرفت. نتیجه‌ها نشان داد که جاذب پادینا توانایی جذب اورانیوم را با ظرفیت بالا در یک سامانه پیوسته دارد و از امکان احیا و استفاده مجدد برخوردار است. }, keywords_fa = {Biosorption,Uranium,Padina sp. brown algae,Continuous sorption system}, url = {https://www.nsmsi.ir/article_244719.html}, eprint = {https://www.nsmsi.ir/article_244719_af922a075bc4df01197580688fa7a950.pdf} }
