One of the most critical applications of this technology is fluid flow analysis. Separation processes in microfluidic devices have received much attention in the last two decades. Among the various separation processes, liquid-liquid extraction has advantages such as low molecular diffusion distance and high interface-specific surface area, leading to efficient mass transfer in microfluidic devices. Stable isotopes are valuable tools for research into mineral availability and metabolism. Stable isotope applications as radiation-free detectors, Diagnosis of the disease, and nuclear imaging can also be used as the primary material or raw material for the production of radiopharmaceuticals, Nuclear imaging, Biochemical analysis, and radiotherapy. Due to the very low abundance of some isotopes, it is essential to separate and concentrate them. This research combines liquid-liquid extraction and microfluidic technology to extract and separate calcium ions as a new method.  In this study, to evaluate the possibility of performing calcium ion extraction simulations, in the studied microfluidic system, the ratio of two-phase velocities was selected so that the current inside the microchannel was flowing in parallel. First, the exact location of the interface was determined by the level set method, then the amount of mass transfer from the aqueous to organic phase was measured using the transport of diluted species method. The microchannel geometry was changed to a spiral geometry, and the extraction rate was investigated to study the effect of geometry on the extraction rate. In the Y-Y microchannel, the extraction efficiency was 60.062%, while in the spiral microchannel, the yield was 71.97%. in other words, by changing the microchannel geometry from Y-Y to the spiral, the mass transfer rate is improved by 11.9%.}, keywords = {Spiral microchannel,Mass transfer,Computational fluid dynamics,Liquid-liquid Extraction,Two-phase flow}, title_fa = {شبیه سازی هیدرودینامیک و انتقال جرم دو فاز امتزاج ناپذیر در میکروکانال Y-Y و حلزونی شکل و بهینه‌سازی پارامترهای مؤثر}, abstract_fa = {میکروسیال، علم و تکنولوژی است که سیال را در حجم 9-10 تا 18-10 لیتر با استفاده از کانال هایی با اندازه‌های در مقیاس میکرو، مورد بررسی قرار می دهد. از مهم‌ترین کاربردهای این تکنولوژی، تجزیه و تحلیل جریان سیال است. فرایندهای جداسازی در دستگاه های میکروفلوئیدیکی در دو دهه گذشته مورد توجه فراوانی قرار گرفته است. در بین فرایندهای جداسازی گوناگون، استخراج مایع-مایع به طور ویژه از برتری‌هایی چون مسافت نفوذ مولکولی پایین و سطح ویژه فصل مشترک بالا که منجر به انتقال جرم مؤثری در دستگاه های میکروفلوئیدیکی می‌شود، برخوردار است. میکروفلوئیدیک فناوری ارزشمندی برای جداسازی یونها و ایزوتوپ های پایدار فلزی می تواند باشد. ایزوتوپ های پایدار برای پژوهش‌ در مورد قابلیت دسترسی به مواد معدنی و متابولیسم مفید هستند. از کاربردهای ایزوتوپ پایدار می توان به عنوان ردیاب بدون تابش پرتو، تشخیص بیماری و تصویر برداری هسته ای نام برد. این ایزوتوپ ها همچنین می توانند به عنوان ماده اصلی یا ماده خام برای تولید رادیو داروها، آنالیز بیوشیمیایی، رادیوتراپی و کاربرد در علوم محیط‌زیستی، زمین شناسی و باستان شناسی استفاده شوند. در این پژوهش، جداسازی یون فلزی کلسیم به عنوان مقدمه‌ای بر جداسازی ایزوتوپی کلسیم با استفاده از روش میکروفلوئیدیک مورد مطالعه قرار گرفت. بدین منظور، شبیه‌سازی استخراج مایع-مایع و تکنولوژی میکروفلویدیک برای استخراج و جداسازی یون کلسیم به عنوان روشی نوین در هم ادغام شده اند. در این راستا با هدف ارزیابی امکان انجام شبیه سازی استخراج یون کلسیم در سامانه میکروفلوئیدیک،  نسبت سرعت های دوفاز به گونه ای انتخاب شد که الگوی جریان درون میکروکانال به صورت موازی باشد. نخست با روش تعیین تراز محل دقیق فصل مشترک تعیین شد، سپس با استفاده از مدل انتقال اجزاء رقیق میزان انتقال جرم از فاز آبی به آلی سنجیده شد. علاوه بر این برای مطالعه تأثیر هندسه در میزان استخراج، هندسه حلزونی شکل نیز مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. درصد استخراج در هندسه نوین محاسبه و با میکروکانال Y-Y شکل مقایسه شد. در میکروکانال Y-Y شکل بازدهی استخراج 062/60 % می باشد در حالی که در هندسه حلزونی در شرایط بهینه بازدهی 98/74 % به‌دست آمد. بنابراین با تغییر هندسه میکروکانال از Y-Y به حلزونی میزان انتقال جرم 89/19% بهبود می یابد.}, keywords_fa = {Spiral microchannel,Mass transfer,Computational fluid dynamics,Liquid-liquid Extraction,Two-phase flow}, url = {https://www.nsmsi.ir/article_246806.html}, eprint = {https://www.nsmsi.ir/article_246806_735e9ce334445b26ad981f22972131d8.pdf} }
