Mutagenicity, carcinogenicity, the toxicity of its byproducts and production of unfavorable color in water are important and unpleasant properties of Azo-dyes. The aim of this study is to fabricate chitosan/iron oxide nanocomposite and assess its ability for removal of Eriochrome black-T as an Azo-dye from contaminated waters. The chitosan/iron oxide nanocomposite was prepared and characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, Brunner, Emmett, and Teller analysis and X-ray diffraction. The TEMPeffectiveness of the adsorbent for removal of the dye from prepared aqueous solutions was assessed in the laboratory. TEMPEffect of Eriochrome black T concentrations, amounts of the adsorbent, pH solution and contact time on decolorization were evaluated with “one at a time” method which in optimal conditions the maximum dye removal was higher TEMPthan 95%. The experimental isotherms data were analyzed using Langmuir, Temkin and Freundlich isotherm equations. Adsorption kinetics data were properly fitted with the pseudo-second-order kinetic model. The best fit was obtained by the Langmuir model with high correlation coefficients (R2=0.95) with a maximum monolayer adsorption capacity about 200 mg/g. The results show that the adsorbent can efficiently remove 60 percent of Azo-dye form samples simulated with real matrix so the synthesized Nanocomposite efficiently removed the dye.}, keywords = {Water treatment,azo dye,Adsorption,De-colorization,pollution}, title_fa = {سنتز نانو کامپوزیت‌ کیتوسان/آهن اکسید: ساختارشناسی سطح و مطالعه‌ی ویژگی‌های جذبی در حذف رنگ آزو از محلول‌های آبی}, abstract_fa = {کاربرد فراوان رنگ‌های آزو در صنایع گوناگون سبب شده است تا از این مواد به‌عنوان مهم‌ترین آلاینده‌های آلی آب نام برده شود. این رنگ‌ها از یک‌سو پتانسیل جهش‌زایی، سرطان‌زایی و ایجاد رنگ ناخواسته دارند و از سوی دیگر سبب تولید فراورده‌های جانبی سمی نیز در محیط‌های آبی می‌شوند. هدف کار حاضر سنتز و بررسی کارایی نانوکامپوزیت کیتوسان/آهن اکسید در حذف رنگ اریوکروم بلکT از آب‌های آلوده است. این جاذب در آزمایشگاه تهیه شد و ویژگی‌های آن با استفاده از طیف FT-IR، میکروسکوپ الکترونی روبشی از نوع گسیل میدانی (FE-SEM)، میکروسکوپ الکترونی عبوری (TEM)، پراش پرتو ایکس (XRD) و آنالیز برونر ـ اممت- تلر (BET) شناسایی شد. سپس کارایی این جاذب در آزمایشگاه برای حذف رنگ به روش ناپیوسته از محلول‌های آبی مطالعه شد. تأثیر غلظت رنگ، زمان تماس، مقدار جاذب و تغییر pH بر کارایی فرایند رنگ‌زدایی به روش "یک در زمان" بررسی شد که در شرایط بهینه بیش از 95 درصد رنگ اریوکروم بلکT حذف شد. از مدل‌های فروندلیچ، تمکین و لانگ‌مویر در تحلیل داده‌های تجربی همدمایی استفاده شد. داده‌های سینتیکی فرایند جذب مطابقت خوبی با مدل سینتیکی شبه مرتبه دوم داشتند. داده‌های تجربی فرایند جذب از مدل لانگمویر (95/0R2=) پیروی می‌کنند و بیش‌ترین ظرفیت جاذب در نمونه‌های آبی 200 میلی‌گرم بر گرم است. نتیجه ها نشان داد که این جاذب توانایی حذف رنگ‌های آزو از نمونه‌هایی با بافت حقیقی همانند‌سازی شده را نیز بهمیزان 60 درصد دارد.}, keywords_fa = {Water treatment,azo dye,Adsorption,De-colorization,pollution}, url = {https://www.nsmsi.ir/article_26007.html}, eprint = {https://www.nsmsi.ir/article_26007_9ee2f7605ab7f91789f26eefd5b433c7.pdf} }
