The effect of various factors such as reaction time between dopamine and ferric chloride, sample volume, drying time, pH of phenanthroline solution and volume ratio of ferric chloride / dopamine were investigated and optimized. The optimal values for each of the parameters were 4 min, 1.4, 2.8 and 4.2 μl, 12 min, 7.4 and 2: 1, respectively. From subsequent analyzes using Photoshop software, LOD and LOQ were calculated 0.0171 Mµ and 0.0517 Mµ, and RSD was obtained in the range of 0.12 ٪ to 17 0.17 for n = 5, which shows the good accuracy of this method. Also in this study, the potential of the proposed method as a low cost and fast colorimetric method for dopamine determination in real samples including human blood serum was shown. %U https://www.nsmsi.ir/article_249054_83586dbf7a537aeea36f606a6149c262.pdf
