Investigation of quality of gasoline and gas oil due to dissolution of oily sludge hydrocarbons %K Sludge %K Solvent %K hydrocarbon %K Quality of petroleum products %R %X Organic matter in oily sludge is a pollutant and must be removed before sludge is released into the environment. In this research, the separation of hydrocarbons from the sludge of reservoirs in Shahid Haj Qasem Soleimani Rafsanjan and Sirjan oil depots has been investigated. All possible states with equal proportions of solvents were investigated using shaker and mixer to select a combination of solvents and the desired method. The results showed that the solvents had effective extraction and the shaker method was more suitable than the mixer for the separation of hydrocarbons. Therefore, the effect of temperature and the number of extraction steps were examined for optimal samples and compared with the conventional Soxhlet method. The Shaker method showed a high separation of hydrocarbons at 55°C and 5 extraction steps. The chloroform had the highest hydrocarbon extraction (95.8%). After these experiments, dissolution effect of the extracted hydrocarbons on the quality of gasoline and gas oil of Kerman oil depot was examined. The results showed that the mixing of separated hydrocarbons had a negative effect on the quality of gasoline but key quality control tests have shown that it is possible to dissolve these hydrocarbons in gas oil. %U https://www.nsmsi.ir/article_251466_959ce55df3eb48b24ffefe27a9e0767a.pdf
