The nanocatalyst was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), infrared spectroscopy and nitrogen adsorption/desorption isotherm. The results from X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy show that the textile properties of SBA-15 are preserved after grafting of manganese (II) complex. A variety of aforementioned heterocycles were synthesized easily and with good yields under green conditions in aqueous medium via ring condensation of 1,2-diamines and 1,2-diketones in the presence of  catalytic amounts of catalyst.
