These nanoscale gas structures, which are classified into Surface NanoBubbles (SNBs) and Bulk NanoBubbles(BNBs), can be synthesized using various physical, chemical, and physicochemical methods. This article reviews nanobubble fabrication techniques while focusing on their emerging applications in the power plant industry, particularly their role in mitigating metal corrosion. Corrosion is a major challenge in power plant units, especially in acidic environments such as geothermal systems. Studies have demonstrated that injecting air nanobubbles into corrosive media can reduce steel corrosion rates by up to 50%. This protective effect is achieved through the formation of a nanoscale bubble-like layer on the metal surface and the accelerated accumulation of compounds such as silica in acidic environments. Furthermore, nanobubbles exhibit unique capabilities in other applications, including surface cleaning, fluid friction reduction, pollutant removal, and mineral flotation enhancement. The findings suggest promising new avenues for utilizing nanobubbles to improve efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance the durability of metal infrastructure in a power plant.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;</Abstract>

A major challenge in advancing high-performance supercapacitors lies in the design and optimization of negative electrode materials with higher capacitances. In this study, a metal–organic framework (MOF), NH₂-MIL-101(Fe), was synthesized hydrothermally at a low temperature (130 °C) using 2-aminobenzene-1,4-dicarboxylic acid as the organic linker and Fe–O clusters as the metal nodes. Subsequently, this MOF was combined with graphene oxide (GO) in the presence of urea via a hydrothermal reaction at 180 °C to yield a nanocomposite consisting of iron oxide embedded in a carbonaceous framework (α-Fe₂O₃/C) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO), denoted as Fe₂O₃–rGO. The Fe₂O₃–rGO nanocomposite delivered a high specific capacitance of 482 F g⁻¹ at a specific current of 1 A g⁻¹ within the potential window of –1.1 to 0 V vs. Ag/AgCl in a 0.3 M KOH electrolyte. This value is significantly higher than that of the individual components, MOF (98 F g⁻¹) and rGO (251 F g⁻¹). Moreover, the Fe₂O₃–rGO electrode retained 55% of its initial capacitance at an ultrahigh specific current of 50 A g⁻¹, demonstrating excellent rate capability. The superior performance of the Fe₂O₃–rGO nanocomposite can be attributed to the combined energy storage mechanisms, namely electric double-layer capacitance from rGO and pseudocapacitance from Fe₂O₃, as well as the synergistic interactions between these components. This work represents a promising step toward the development of efficient negative electrode materials for hybrid supercapacitors and batteries, providing a foundation for next-generation energy storage devices.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;</Abstract>

Chemical compounds containing these rings have anticancer, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antituberculosis, anticonvulsant, antimalarial, anti-Alzheimer, and antiviral effects, and more than 18 FDA-approved drugs contain a thiazole ring. In addition, hydrazine is a very useful functional group that can act as a hydrogen bond donor and acceptor and as a key pharmacophore in molecules that inhibit enzymes, especially pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzymes or metalloenzymes. Finally, the benzamide group is a common motif in drugs known for its favorable pharmacokinetic profile and is present in antiemetic drugs and anticancer agents. Therefore, due to the unique therapeutic effects of these cores as target groups in the design of drug structures, researchers are interested in them and using the method, rational scaffold hybridization, which is a powerful strategy in the design of lead compounds, a targeted integration of several different privileged pharmacophores, each of which adds specific properties to the entire molecule, has been carried out. Therefore, the present design was carried out to synergize the beneficial effects of each component to achieve a compound that can interact with multiple points on a biological target, which leads to increased potency, efficacy, and selectivity, and improved pharmacokinetic properties and a more favorable safety profile of the final compounds. As a result, in this study, the synthesis of a new hydrazino derivative of thiazole-phenoxy-1,2,3-triazole-benzamide using appropriate and optimized reagents and reaction conditions was presented in 4 steps, and the structure of the products in each step was confirmed using FT-IR and &lt;sup&gt;1&lt;/sup&gt;H-NMR spectroscopy methods. 		<Abstract>&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: &#039;Times New Roman&#039;,serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;&quot;&gt;In the present study, the relationship between the kinetics of the catalytic hydrogenation reaction of acrolein and the solvatochromic properties of the solvent has been investigated. Acrolein, with only three carbons, is the smallest β-α unsaturated molecule and has a carbon-carbon and carbon-oxygen double bond (aldehyde functional group) on one molecule. The hydrogenation of acrolein produces the products allyl alcohol, propanal, and 1-propanol, depending on the type of hydrogen addition to the starting material molecule. The results of the present study show that increasing the polarity/polarizability (*π) of the solvent used in the hydrogenation reaction increases the rate constant of acrolein consumption and 1-propanol production, but decreases the rate constant of allyl alcohol production. The reason for this is due to the effect of solvent polarity on the adsorption and desorption of the aforementioned molecules from the catalyst surface. On the other hand, the rate constant of propanal production, another product of the acrolein hydrogenation reaction, is directly related to the hydrogen bonding strength (α) of the solvent and increases with increasing this parameter. This is due to the ability of solvents with high hydrogen bonding strength to interact with the oxygen of the carbonyl group of the acrolein molecule and prevent its hydrogenation.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;</Abstract>

Ozonation has been widely used in water and wastewater treatment for disinfection and for the destruction of toxic organic pollutants. However, the efficiency of ozone utilization is low, the mineralization of organic pollutants by ozone oxidation is less effective, and some toxic disinfection byproducts (DBPs) are likely to be formed during the ozonation process. Catalytic ozonation can overcome these problems to some extent. During catalytic ozonation, catalysts can increase the efficiency of O&lt;sub&gt;3&lt;/sub&gt; decomposition and generate active free radicals. These active species can enhance the degradation and mineralization of organic pollutants. In heterogeneous catalytic ozonation (HCO), ozone is injected into the wastewater stream as a gas or as O&lt;sub&gt;3&lt;/sub&gt;-enriched air. A solid catalyst improves ozonation efficiency by increasing the decomposition of O&lt;sub&gt;3&lt;/sub&gt; and the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) that are capable of oxidizing ROCs. Metal oxides are the most commonly used catalysts. However, the type of catalyst used in the HCO process and how it reacts with O&lt;sub&gt;3&lt;/sub&gt; determine how much ROS is produced. The production of reactive oxygen species by different catalysts in the heterogeneous catalytic ozonation process is enhanced through different mechanisms that may affect the efficiency and selectivity of the process. The present study presents and discusses a comprehensive summary of research and developments in the catalytic ozonation process in the form of various sections including history, types of catalytic ozonation processes, homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts widely used in this process, mechanisms of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalytic ozonation processes, the effect of operating parameters (initial pollutant concentration, catalyst loading amount, solution pH, and temperature) on the process, and finally the application of catalytic ozonation process for the destruction of toxic organic pollutants.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;</Abstract>

The hydrogen required is provided by water electrolysis and the CO₂ is collected from industries. These materials are first converted to methanol and then to DME. Initial simulations showed the energy efficiency of this process to be 51.27%. To provide the clean electricity required for the electrolysis, two Rankine cycles (with geothermal fluid as the energy source) - one high temperature and one low temperature - were integrated into the main process. This integration not only provided the electricity required for the electrolysis (1318 kW) and the entire unit, but also produced an additional 432 kW of clean electricity. In addition, 7.5 tons per hour of fresh water (from seawater desalination) and 7.5 tons per hour of hot steam at 240 degrees Celsius were recovered from the waste heat of the cycles for heating purposes. Combining these systems with a geothermal source increased DME production to 66 kg/h and significantly increased the overall energy efficiency of the process to 75.3%. Optimization of the thermal networks with pinch analysis also resulted in the complete elimination of the auxiliary heating load (heater) and an 11% reduction in the auxiliary cooling load (cooler) (kW). Sensitivity analysis showed that a 10% increase in electrolysis power (kW), a 50% decrease in the methanol reactor temperature (degrees Celsius), and a 33% decrease in the H₂ to CO₂ ratio in the methanol unit feed (molar ratio) could increase DME production by 32% (kg/h) and increase the energy efficiency from 75.3% to 75.7%. This energy efficiency is considered very high compared to similar studies.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;</Abstract>

Nevertheless, lead is known as one of the most toxic elements for human beings. Microchannel provides a novel approach to liquid-liquid extraction, which enables us to have a very fast mass transfer process, high throughput, and better control of the flow pattern. Due to increased surface area to volume, reduced extraction time, reduced solvent consumption and improved extraction efficiency, separation processes in microchannels have attracted attention of researchers over the past two decades. In the present study, lead (II) was removed from aqueous solution in a micro-mixer using D2EHPA solvent. The effect of microchannel angle of incidence (45°, 90°, 135°, 180°), two-phase flow rate ratio (0.5, 1, and 2), nanoparticle concentration (0.01, 0.02, 0.03, and 0.04 w/v), inert gas flow rate (2, 4, and 6 mL/min), and ultrasound irradiation and their combination were investigated to improve lead removal and increase mass transfer. The results demonstrated that the use of inert gas, nanoparticles under magnetic and ultrasonic fields increases the mixing and mass transfer rate. Accordingly, the removal efficiency of lead (II) rises to 96.88%.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;</Abstract>

			<OtherAbstract Language="FA">در این مطالعه، ابتدا مقدار بهینه رنگ گرافیت لایه‌نشانی شده و رنگ کربن سیاه با کربن فعال در حضور اتصال‌دهنده بر روی سطح مش استیل ضد زنگ، به ترتیب، ۸۸/۸ و ۲۰ میلی‌گرم بر سانتی متر مربع، طبق طیف‌سنجی امپدانس در محلول بافر فسفات تعیین شد. سپس این الکترودها، در کنار صفحات گرافیت و مش استیل لایه‌نشانی شده با رنگ گرافیت بدون استفاده از اتصال‌دهنده، با چگالی سطحی ۰/۳ ± ۱ میلی‌گرم بر سانتی متر مربع، به‌عنوان الکترودهای آند و کاتد در پیل سوختی میکروبی رسوبی مورد آزمایش قرار گرفتند. نتایج حاصل از منحنی‌های پلاریزاسیون و امپدانس نشان داد که استفاده از مش استیل لایه‌نشانی شده با پودر گرافیت در حضور اتصال‌دهنده به‌عنوان الکترود آند و مش استیل لایه‌نشانی شده با کربن سیاه بدون اتصال‌دهنده، موجب افزایش توان خروجی به میزان ۲۹۱ میلی‌وات بر مترمربع و جریان خروجی به میزان ۱۱۰۲ میلی‌آمپر بر مترمربع شده و مقاومت داخلی پیل را تقلیل می‌دهد. این نتایج اهمیت طراحی مناسب الکترود در افزایش کارایی پیل‌های سوختی میکروبی رسوبی را تأیید می‌کند..</OtherAbstract>

To overcome this challenge, several strategies have been proposed, including environmental condition optimization, additive supplementation, culture medium reformulation, and strain engineering. In the anaerobic fermentation of succinic acid using Corynebacterium glutamicum, the accumulation of succinic acid in the culture broth significantly reduces production yield. Therefore, this study explores the potential of improving yield through in-situ product removal techniques. A diverse set of solvents, including plant-based oils, alcohols, and alkanes, was evaluated based on biocompatibility, solubility, economic viability, and other critical parameters relevant to in-situ extraction. Aspen Plus software was used to simulate and screen potential solvents for effective succinic acid separation. Among the candidates, octanol, octane, and oleyl alcohol were further assessed for biocompatibility. 			<OtherAbstract Language="FA">در تولید محصولات شیمیایی به روش تخمیر، یکی از چالش‌های رایج، مهار تولید توسط تجمع محصول در محیط کشت است. برای غلبه بر این مشکل، روش‌هایی همچون تغییر شرایط محیطی، افزودن مواد کمکی، اصلاح فرمولاسیون محیط و بهبود سویه‌های میکروبی پیشنهاد شده است. در فرایند بی‌هوازی تولید سوکسینیک اسید با استفاده از کورینه باکتریوم گلوتامیکوم، تجمع این متابولیت موجب کاهش راندمان می‌شود. در این پژوهش، با به‌کارگیری روش جداسازی درجا، امکان بهبود راندمان تولید بررسی شد. گروه‌های مختلفی از حلال‌ها شامل حلال‌های گیاهی، الکل‌ها و آلکان‌ها از نظر زیست‌سازگاری و جنبه‌های اقتصادی ارزیابی شدند. برای انتخاب حلال مناسب، از نرم‌افزار اسپن پلاس استفاده گردید. بر اساس نتایج نمودار مصرف گلوکز، رشد باکتری در ساعت 24 مهار شد؛ بنابراین، حلال در همین زمان به محیط کشت اضافه شد. در میان گزینه‌ها، اولئیل الکل به دلیل زیست‌سازگاری بالا، توانایی جذب مطلوب سوکسینیک اسید و قابلیت بازیابی از طریق تقطیر، به‌عنوان مناسب‌ترین حلال انتخاب گردید. بیشترین جداسازی در غلظت (v/v) 10% حاصل شد که منجر به افزایش حدود 15 درصدی راندمان تخمیر گردید.</OtherAbstract>
