Abstract

In this research, a one pot three-component, efficient, environmentally friendly synthetic method for the preparation of several imidazole thions using a new cobalt catalyst was proposed. The catalyst used in this reaction is a complex of cobalt (II) based on the 5-nitro-N- ((pyridin-2-yl) methylene) benzene-2,1-diamine ligand, which is the first in the synthesis of imidazole tions of four A difference has been used. This reaction was performed under solvent-free conditions with different reagents of benzoin, aryl isothiocyanates and different aromatic amines of the first type, in the presence of the optimal amount of catalyst. The advantages of this method include easy operation, short reaction time, high product yield, catalyst recyclability and no use of toxic and hazardous solvents.
